The Woodlands Mall

The Woodlands Mall is a two-level enclosed mall off I-45 in The Woodlands, about 30 miles north of downtown Houston. Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Macy’s and JCPenney anchor it, with Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Sephora and Pottery Barn among the big draws. Hours

The mall is open seven days a week, with shorter hours on Sunday. Department stores and restaurants can keep their own hours.

Directions & Location

From Houston, head north on I-45 and take exit 76B (Woodlands Parkway), then follow the signs to the mall: about 30 miles from downtown (allow 35–45 minutes).

Parking

Parking is free in the lots around the mall. Nordstrom and Dillard’s are at opposite ends, so park on the side of the store you need first.

Latest Updates for the Woodlands Mall

The mall added and reshuffled several tenants during 2026, so a store you remember from an older visit may have moved:

• Swarovski opened in early May 2026, followed by Necoa and a new Sbarro later that month (Community Impact).
• Urban Outfitters moved into the former Lane Bryant space on Level 1 — the brand’s newer store concept, and noticeably larger than the unit it left (Hello Woodlands).
• Casper relocated within the mall during the same period.
• ParkerJoe opened in August 2026, according to the official directory, which also lists Ariat and 7th Avenue as coming soon (September 2026).

Woodlands Area

While in The Woodlands, Texas, there is much to explore. With over 200 restaurants within the city, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Hughes Landing offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences. However, if you’re not in the mood to shop, there are still many things to do in The Woodlands. There are 7,790 acres of green space throughout the city, including over 100 neighborhood parks, miles of bike and hiking trails, golf courses, tennis courts and kayaking areas. Finally, visitors may find entertainment in Hughes Landing events, the Art Festival, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, or the Waterway Square.
